Alex Trevallion Park is a free dog friendly camping site provided and maintained by Walgett Shire Council at the south end of the town of Walgett, in the central northern Western Plains of NSW. The area is home to a great diversity of flora and fauna, with many species of birds to keep the watchers and twitchers absorbed. There are local fishing spots for good catches of cod and yellow belly for the fishers as well.

The camping area is large with easy access for tents and all sizes of rigs to set up and provides good shelter. The Shire maintains bbq, toilets and a dump point at the site and has a 48hr limit on camping. Please ensure you maintain your site and keep the area clean.
