THE EXPERIENCE

Park your car in front of the house on the RHS and walk across to the farm gate beside the boundary fence to enter the enclosed area. The off leash enclosed area is approximately 1000 sq meters. It surrounded by a 1200 mm high wire mesh fence and the house. A 1800 mm high chain wire fence draped with dust cloth along the boundary with the adjacent street helps prevent wayward balls and other toys being lost. It also provides some privacy from traffic and dog walkers.

A patio at the back of the house provides an undercover area and a rain water tap. All other taps on the property are irrigation water from the dam and not suitable for human consumption. There is tree shade for worn out dogs that need to take a rest. There is also a pile of bricks in the enclosure, which although stable, should be avoided. A dog poo long drop and scoop is located on the entry side of the brick pile. But do not drop plastic bags in as they will not decompose.

A gate leads through to the extended area which is not fenced on all sides, but can be used if your pup has good recall. An electric fence runs across the end of the area. The area boundary on the house side is an imaginary line approximately in line with the tree and top of the mound. Please watch for hazards such as the empty pool if using this area.

A gap in the electric fence at end of the extended area leads through to a 400 m mowed sniffing trail loop in the horse paddock. There are currently no horses in the paddock. There is a dam in the bottom corner suitable for a hot dog cool off or swim, maybe chasing the water flies. However good recall is required as only rural fencing is in that area. There is a resident blue tongue lizard that wanders the property. It will probably the reason that a dog gets a bit excited. The property is a work in progress so if you would like to stray from the secure enclosure please be mindful that there are still some building materials and equipment scattered about.

This park is located on private land and you will have to make a booking to enter the area with your dog. Detailed address will be send to you at the time of the booking.
