Prince Alfred Hotel is a dog friendly pub in Richmond. They have a designated ‘doggy door’ that leads into the beer garden and a ‘Hair of the Dog’ promotion for $12 Bloody Marys and dog treats every Sunday. Dogs are welcome to walk through the pub to get to the beer garden, however are only allowed outside. There are two fully covered areas in the beer garden to protect dogs from the rain/sun and in the uncovered parts they have several umbrellas that are put up on sunny and rainy days. There are also plenty of water bowls for dogs.
