THE EXPERIENCE
The main beach is a 700 m long sandy beach, with the 300 m long jetty located toward the southern end. The jetty was built to service the lime kilns whose remains back the jetty. A large car park adjoins the jetty, and there are toilets, a shelter and boat ramp at the beach, but no commercial facilities.
Dogs are welcome off leash on all beaches in Yorke Peninsula (except in National Parks).
