Chinaman Wells is a 10.8 km long sandy dog friendly beach that includes Chinaman Well and terminates at Point Warrene, the site of Balgowan settlement. The Aboriginal Land extends as far as Chinaman Well. This long sandy beach contains a wide low gradient high tide beach, fronted by sand flats that reach 2.5 km in width in the south, narrowing gradually to 500 m off Point Warrene.
