Rose Bay Foreshore | 24h Dog Friendly Beach in Rose Bay
THE EXPERIENCE
Beautiful 24h off the lead harbour Dog Friendly Beach right next door to Rose Bay shops and cafes. This large Dog Friendly Beach is great place to run in particularly at low tide. Great for swimming as well as the beach is very shallow. Sting rays have been spotted in the area so be mindful when entering the water. It can get crowded with dogs during the weekend peak hours so make sure you are observing your dog and others at all times.
You can also walk along the shoreline to Lyne Park if your dog prefers to play on the grass
Unfortunately there are no dog friendly pubs/bars in Rose Bay to go for an after play drink with your pup. However, The Golden Sheaf is only a few minutes drive away with a fantastic covered dog friendly outdoor area and even a dedicated Doggie Menu for your pooch!

Beautiful place and my boy loved the swim. First time in 5 years he came off leash in an unfenced environment. Enjoyed the company of other dogs too. Gave a private beach feel.
I really love this beach and come here often. Especially if my friend Barney joins me we have a ball. Or rather, we steal another dog’s ball and run like crazy so he cannot catch us. We love going into the water and sometimes into the storm water outlets, which our humans don’t like us doing. There are always other fun dogs to pay with. We find sticks to chew on and sometimes we find food that humans have dropped. But for sure, this beach enriches our lives enormously!
I like playing here so much, although my humans won’t take me if it’s been raining and they always make me shower afterwards.
Amazing dog beach! Lots of other doggies to play with, easy access to the water, big area for all doggies to play and swim.
Absolutely love this place. Large beach to run around and great for swimming. I haven’t had any problems, however have heard of some aggressive dogs occasionally causing trouble. Apparently there are also sting rays in the area (have never seen them though) so should be a little cautious when entering the water.
