This could be an amazing spot for dogs, however the water is dirty with rubbish and full of algae and lots of broken glass in spots quite close to the water and pathway from the carpark. I wish there were more accessible bins too. We left almost straight away.
This is a pretty nice spot, although I heard rumours that it’s built over a rubbish tip (no wonder it smells so great!) … It definitely isn’t the cleanest beach or park around! But the lagoon is a nice safe place for dogs to run and frolic and get wet. I learned to swim here, and accidentally dunked a dachshund – I didn’t know his legs weren’t touching the ground! Mine were!
