THE EXPERIENCE

This medium to hard grade dog friendly hike is one of the oldest tracks in the Blue Mountains.

The track starts on the fire trail that leads off to your left at the end of Centennial Glen Road, behind the locked gate.

Once you past the shady gully you arrive to the t-junction. If you turn right, you will end up where you started, so therefore let’s continue straight but keep an eye for the steps on your left right after this junction. Follow the steps leading down to your left and take a left turn towards Colliers Causeway after about 50m.

Once you get to the bottom of the falls, you will cross the creek. Continue on Colliers Causeway pass Lamberts and Colliers Lookouts.

You will then arrive at Burton Street. Take the fire trail on your right and turn left on Cecil Street and right into Kanimbla Street. At the end of Kanimbla Street take the fire trail on the left hand side of the school. Walk on the fire trail for about 10mins and you get to Fort Rock. At the rock platform head right following the signs Centennial Glen. This track will take you to the t-junction in the beginning of your journey. Turn left and you will get back to your starting point.

    Walk not suitable for dogs
Only first 500m section allows dogs on a lead then dogs are not allowed. I almost got a fine and my dog almost ate some 1080 baits that were laid out in the section that doesn’t allow dogs.

I repeat do not take you dog on this walk
