Established in 1834, The Surveyor General is Australia’s oldest continuously licensed Inn. In 2007 The Surveyor General won the Australian Hotels Association Award for ‘Best Heritage Hotel’. The great, Berrima River Walk for you and your furry friend starts right next to the Surveyor (between the pub and the gaol).

If you are visiting Southern Highlands, you should not miss the Surveyor General Inn. First we went for a walk along the Berrima River, which was awesome. Surveyor allows dogs inside the front bar and they had a really nice fire going so I didn’t feel cold laying on the floor. Simple awesome place from the dogs point of view.
