  • Dog Friendly BarZaar has a bar, bistro and gaming area. Well behaved dogs are welcome on the court yard/beer garden.

    • This famous bakery is home to the 1kg donut challenge. If your not up for the challenge they have a multitude of flavors to choose from. If you are up for it, book in advance so they can bake it for you.

      They also sell vegan donuts, pies and dog biscuits as a treat for your dog.

      Out the back is the main seating area with shade and dog bowl. They also have a little play area for kids.

    • Whether the water level is up or down this river is a lovely place for your dog and for you. If the water is high enough you can take a kayak if not just have a paddle and cool down.
      The large grass area is great for get together, picnics or games. Walking distance to the shops and backs on to the dog friendly showgrounds where you can camp.

  • This dog friendly walk is along the Maleny Kenilworth Rd with parking at Little Yabba Park, just over the bridge. The walk is short and easy, a 1.1km circuit and backs on to the river.

    • This is a short walk but it has amazing fig trees heading up to the sky. Wheelchair friendly and close to the dog friendly camp area over the bridge. This area also has a BBQ, toilets and seating and in parts easy for your dog to get in the river.

    • Fantastic showground camp, whether your in a camper, van or tent. Power and water $20 per night (for 2) Un-powerd sites available for $15 per night (for 2)
      Friendly and helpful hosts who lend out fire pits and sell fire wood.
      Dogs must be on leads and please clean up after your dog or this might not be dog friendly for long.
      Toilets, showers, 2 dump points, near to other dog friendly places. Shops and dog friendly pub, bakery and walking track just a short stroll away. Laundry across the road.

      After rain a little river appears which is great to cool down in, take your dog for a swim in or stand up paddle board.

  • The area of the beach located beyond a point 200m South-East and a point 200m North-West of the Jetty is where dogs can stretch their legs off leash at all times!

    • Very close to the caravan park and town. Beach was full of weed and blue bottles and the water was quite dirty when we were there but they had a storm come through the night before so possibly not always like this. Off leash area well signed.

  • The area of the beach north of the boat ramp is dedicated for dogs to run off leash.

  • Dogs are welcome to exercise off leash on the Coastal Reserves – the part of reserve 25307 south of a Line described by the Westerly projection of the Northern Boundary of Hackney Street and reserve 34550.
