This is a relatively sheltered beach mainly used by fishers and generally unsuitable for swimming, owing to rocks and the sewer outlet. However, there is plenty of room to run on the beach.

Off lead Dog Friendly Beach extends from south of Bank Street. This great long stretch of sandy beach is adjacent to the Wollongong Golf Course and provides a great exercise area close to the city.

Designated off lead area is north of Fairy Creek Lagoon to walkway south of playground at Fairy Meadow Beach. Access is via Squires Way or Elliots Road.

Great sandy Dog Friendly Beach with rock pools at either end for puppies who like to play with the frothy water as it hits the rocks. Access is via Yuruga Street.

Access to this small off lead Dog Friendly Beach area is via Lawrence Hargraves drive. Beach is beautiful and although only a small part of it is off leash, it still provide enough space to run, play and swim!
