THE EXPERIENCE
Take your doggos out on a culinary puppy pub crawl with other sociable doggos as we venture down High Street visiting dog-friendly bars in Northcote.
All venues have undercover options for us and include wine & cocktail bar, a greenery courtyard wine bar and a spacious food truck venue. Total walking distance 850 meters. Meet at Oh Loretta 2 pm.
1st stop Oh Loretta. This sophisticated wine and cocktail bar has a welcoming vibe and classy space to wine and dine at. The chef has made home-made doggie treats platter to share: crispy salmon skin, dehydrated tenderloin, roo balls, vegie wakame strips amongst others will be plated for all puppy pub crawl doggos to share.
For drinks the humans are spoilt with choice: paddle of wines, cocktails, beers that we can order. There’ll be zucchini, eggplant crisps, Mac and cheese croquettes to share but if that’s not enough you can order from doggie- inspired snacks for humans menu.
2nd stop Northside Wines. Unpretentious wine Bar with relaxed atmosphere supporting the craft wine farming all over Australia. Beers & Ciders are available but why not try their Wine Flights while we’re here. We will be seated at their green enclosed courtyard, perfect for the doggos but be sure to keep them on leash.
Whilst having our drinks, if you’re hungry Northside Wines offer $15 pizzas for our group. There’ll be doggie biscuits for all the pooches.
3rd stop Welcome to Thornbury. An icon of the area, our last stop is a permanent bar and food truck stop.
With a huge open-air seating no wonder this place is super doggo-friendly. Some of the best well-known food vendor food trucks operate here, usually with Vegan options too.
