Vet Ultrasound Training Workshop | FURRY VOLUNTEERS REQUIRED | Sat-Sun 5-6th Oct

THE EXPERIENCE

Vetprac is ???????????????????????????? ???????????? ???????????????????????? ???????????????????????????????????????? ???????? ???????????????? ???????? ???? ???????????????????????????????????????? ???????????????????????????????????? ???????????????????????????????????????? ???????????????????????????????? ???????????????????????????????? ???????? ???????????????????????????? ???????????? & ???????????? ???????? ????????????????????????????????????, ????????????????????????????????.

Volunteer Dogs will assist in a workshop for veterinarians helping them develop skills with new ultrasound equipment so they can diagnose conditions. If your dog can help by volunteering for the day they’ll help other dogs when they are sick requiring expert diagnostics for treatment.

Eligibility requirements of volunteer dogs include: Must be comfortable being handled and able to lie reasonably quietly for short periods on a soft bed. They must like long soft pats and relaxing. They must be at least 2 years of age and between 7-35kg to participate. They must be vaccinated. Belly rubs and ear scratches are included. Cuddles are mandatory.

Qualified pups will need to come to the Fairfield training facility between 6:30-8: 00 am and they may be reluctant but ready to go home at 5:30-6: 00 pm.

During their day of dedicated attention, they will have their bellies shaved for the scan and a huge bonus is a free health check by the veterinarians. Have we mentioned all participants are qualified veterinarians being taught by specialist radiologists?

Your dog will be walked and cared for with great kindness and love. They’ll also receive lots of cuddles from the vets during their time with us.

Applications to volunteer are requested before September 10th, 2019

For more information, or to volunteer, please email [email protected] with details about your canine-volunteer, your email address and phone number so we can call for a chat and to answer any questions.
