Victor Harbour East | Timeshare Dog Friendly Beach
THE EXPERIENCE
Victor Harbour East Beach is off leash between 8pm – 10am.
On the western side of the river the beach continues for 1.6 km to the tip of the prominent sandy foreland in lee of Granite Island and the 500 m long causeway out to the Island. This beach become increasing protected by the Island. As it does so it narrows and seagrass grows to the beach. The entire beach is backed by a public reserve containing numerous recreation facilities, including a boat ramp near the point.
The reserve is backed by the main shopping area of Victor Harbour. The three beaches between Freeman Knob and Victor Harbour are partly protected by Granite Island, and waves average 1 m, which produce a single continuous bar and moderately sloping beach. Weak rips are present under normal conditions, and intensify when waves exceed 1 m.
