Dog Friendly The Tuena Camping and Picnic Ground is a lovely flat spot along the babbling creek in the Historic village of Tuena known for its rich gold mining and bush ranger history. The camping and picnic grounds include an amenities block, barbecue, potable water and covered tables. The campground is pet-friendly.

Tuena is an old gold mining town, and many fossickers still come here to try their luck in Tuena creek or at the Abercrombie River a short drive to the north. If you are lucky you might find a decent sized nugget or two!
